the story behind STILL HER.

my skin changed and nobody said why

after my second son, my skin changed and it did not change back. i kept using the same products i always had. they stopped working.

nothing i was told explained it. drink more water. be patient. it'll settle. none of that was an answer.

the actual reason was hormonal. estrogen and progesterone drop after birth, the skin barrier is affected, and skin that held moisture fine before suddenly can't.

i wasn't looking for a new routine. i was looking for someone to tell me what was happening.

what nobody explains

most skincare is built for a skin type, not a season.

the products marketed to women in this stage are either full of fragrance and essential oils, or so stripped back they don't do anything.

what i wanted did not exist. something breastfeeding safe, genuinely simple, and built for skin that's reacting rather than skin that's "problem" skin.

what i'm building

one hero moisturizer. launching november 2026.

fragrance free, essential oil free, retinol free, vegan, cruelty free.

built for skin in a season of change. not a ten step routine. not a reinvention.

STILL HER is not about getting your old skin back. it's about being cared for in the skin you have now.

who i am

i'm courtney. air force veteran, IT administrator, mom of two boys.

i'm building this by myself, in the early mornings before everyone wakes up.

i'm documenting the whole thing honestly, including the parts that don't work.
